3 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Delivery fulfillment: Processing your booking, dispatching drivers, coordinating pickup and drop-off, and sending delivery confirmations.
  • Payment processing: Charging for services and issuing refunds where applicable.
  • Communication: Responding to inquiries, sending order updates, and providing customer support via email or text.
  • Service improvement: Understanding how our website is used to improve the booking experience and site performance.
  • Legal & safety: Meeting our obligations under applicable law, maintaining records in connection with disputes, and complying with applicable regulations.
  • Fraud prevention: Detecting and preventing fraud, unauthorized access, and misuse of our services.
We do not sell your data. Pick It Up and Go does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes — ever.

Marketing

We may occasionally send service-related messages such as a follow-up after your first order or a reminder about an upcoming scheduled delivery. We do not send unsolicited promotional marketing without your consent. You can opt out of any marketing communications at any time — see Section 4 for SMS or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

4 SMS / Text Messaging

By providing your phone number and placing a delivery order, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Pick It Up and Go related to your order. These messages may include:

  • Booking confirmation and order reference number
  • Driver dispatch notifications
  • Pickup and delivery status updates
  • Changes or cancellations to your order
  • Follow-up messages related to your delivery

Message Frequency & Costs

Message frequency varies based on order activity, typically 2–5 messages per delivery. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.

Opting Out

To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message at any time. We will send one final confirmation text and remove you from future messages. Note that opting out of marketing messages does not prevent us from sending critical transactional messages (e.g., your driver is on the way) needed to complete an order you have already placed.

For help, reply HELP to any message or call us at (603) 819-5385.

No third-party marketing via SMS. Your phone number is never shared with third parties for the purpose of sending you marketing messages.

5 How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We work with a small number of trusted vendors who help us operate our service. These vendors are given access only to the data they need to perform their specific function and are required to protect your information.

🚚 Delivery Drivers

We share pickup and delivery addresses, contact information, and package details with the driver assigned to your order — strictly to complete your delivery.

💳 Stripe

Payment processing. Your card details are transmitted directly to Stripe's servers and never pass through or are stored on ours. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.

📱 SMS Provider

Text message delivery for order confirmations and delivery status updates. Your phone number is shared with our SMS provider to send transactional messages on our behalf.

✉️ Email Service

Order confirmations and contact-form replies. Your name and email are shared with our email provider only to deliver these messages.

🌐 Web Hosting

Our website and booking system are hosted on a server with standard access logs. Logs may include IP addresses, browser types, and pages visited.

No Advertising Networks

We do not share your personal information with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics companies that would use your data to serve you ads on other websites.

Legal Disclosures

We may disclose your information to law enforcement, courts, or other authorities when required by law or court order, or to protect the safety of our drivers, customers, or the public. We will notify you of such disclosures where legally permitted to do so.

Business Transfer

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

6 Payment Processing & Stripe

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., a leading payment processor. When you enter your payment information, it is transmitted directly and securely to Stripe over an encrypted connection.

Pick It Up and Go never receives, stores, or has access to your full credit card number, CVV, or expiration date. We receive only a payment confirmation and the last 4 digits of your card for reference.

Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com/privacy. Stripe is certified to PCI DSS Level 1 — the highest level of payment security.

Your card details are safe. We never see your full card number. Payment data goes directly to Stripe's encrypted servers — not ours.

7 Cookies & Website Tracking

Our website uses a limited set of cookies and similar technologies to make the site function and to understand how it's being used. We do not use cookies for behavioral advertising.

Essential Cookies

These are required for the website to operate correctly — for example, maintaining your session state as you move through the booking form. You cannot opt out of these without impairing site functionality.

Analytics

We may use basic analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns such as how many people visit the booking page and which pages are most popular. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities. You may opt out via your browser settings.

No Ad Tracking

We do not use advertising pixels (such as Facebook Pixel or Google Ads tracking) or cross-site tracking technologies on our website.

How to Control Cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari. Disabling essential cookies may affect website functionality.

8 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • Delivery records (name, contact info, addresses, payment records) are retained for 90 days to support dispute resolution and accounting requirements.
  • SMS and email communications are retained for 90 days.
  • Contact form inquiries are retained for 90 days, then securely deleted.
  • Website analytics data is aggregated and retained for up to 90 days.
  • Technical log data (IP addresses, access logs) is retained for 90 days.

After the applicable retention period, your data is securely deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion where your rights allow — see Section 10.

9 Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our website
  • Using Stripe to handle payment data — we never store or transmit raw card numbers ourselves
  • Restricting access to customer data to personnel who need it to fulfill orders
  • Password-protected, access-controlled hosting infrastructure
  • Regular review of our security practices and vendor relationships

No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a breach that may affect your personal data, we will notify affected individuals as required by New Hampshire law (RSA 359-C:20) and applicable federal requirements. If you believe your information has been compromised, please send us a message immediately.
